Step 1: Design That Actually Works

It all starts with a proper conversation. We learn about your brand, your goals, and what success looks like. Then our in-house designers get to work — sketching, testing colours, playing with finishes — until we’ve created something that hits the brief and looks brilliant.

We’ll guide you on the best materials, plating, enamel type, and shape. If it won’t work in metal, we’ll say so — and suggest something better.

Step 2: The Tooling Begins

Once you approve the design, we create a custom die (think of it like a metal stamp) just for your badge. This die is then used to press your design into a sheet of brass, zinc, or iron — depending on what we agreed during scoping.

If your badge has an intricate shape, we’ll cut it out using precision machinery, smoothing all edges for a clean, safe finish.

Step 3: Plating and Colour Magic

Next, we plate your badges in the finish you’ve chosen — gold, silver, black nickel, antique bronze — the works. After plating, the badge moves on to enamelling.

Hard enamel is layered and polished until it’s flat and smooth like jewellery. Soft enamel is filled and left slightly recessed, creating texture. Either way, we match your brand Pantone colours exactly.

Step 4: Bake, Polish, Inspect

Enamelled badges are baked at high heat to harden the finish. Then they’re polished to perfection. Every single badge is checked by hand before packing — no exceptions.

We look at size tolerance, enamel coverage, plating consistency, edge smoothness — the tiny details that make a big difference when you’re holding it in your hand.

Step 5: Packed with Purpose

Want biodegradable packaging? Recyclable paper wraps? Branded back cards or retail-ready boxes? You’ve got options. We’ll bulk pack for sustainability or individually wrap for presentation — whatever suits your project best.
