At Rocket Badge, doing good business means doing it the right way.
In a world where consumers expect transparency, the way your merchandise is made says as much about your brand as your logo does. Ethical manufacturing isn’t a buzzword for us — it’s the foundation of how we work.
Every badge, keyring, and lanyard that leaves our factory represents more than creativity and craftsmanship — it represents our values. That’s why Rocket Badge has spent decades building an audited, accountable, and responsible supply chain that protects people and the planet.
Why Ethical Manufacturing Matters
Modern slavery, forced labour, and unsafe working conditions remain among the most serious global human rights challenges. The International Labour Organisation estimates that more than 21 million people worldwide are trapped in forced labour. Unfortunately, supply chains in low-cost manufacturing sectors are especially vulnerable.
At Rocket Badge, we take a zero-tolerance stance toward any form of modern slavery or unethical labour. Since our founding in 1987, we’ve implemented rigorous procedures to ensure our supply chain remains fair, transparent, and humane. Every factory we work with is required to pass strict audits and to demonstrate compliance with international ethical standards.
Independent Audits and Accredited Standards
All of our suppliers are required to undergo Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audits (SMETA) or Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) audits. We also reference the SA8000 standard — a globally recognised framework for fair working conditions — and we align with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code.
These audits cover everything from wages and working hours to worker welfare, safety, and equality. Factories that don’t meet our expectations are placed on a Corrective Action Plan, and if improvements aren’t made, we end the relationship.
Our ethical practices are reviewed and renewed every year through ISO 9001 quality accreditation, ensuring that quality and ethics are managed hand-in-hand.
Transparency and Accountability
We publish a detailed Modern Slavery Statement each year in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, setting out the steps we take to eliminate exploitation across our business and supply chains.
We are also proud to be a Sedex member (ZC1091031) — giving our clients full visibility of our audited factories and ethical credentials. Copies of our supplier policies, audit reports, and certificates are always available on request.
You’ll find a full list of our ethical standards, audit policies, and sustainability credentials on our Manufacturing page.
Shared Responsibility
We believe every brand has a role to play in shaping a fairer industry. By asking suppliers the right questions — about working conditions, audits, and environmental impact — companies can help drive lasting change across global supply chains.
When you choose Rocket Badge, you’re not just choosing beautiful enamel or polished metal. You’re choosing a partner who ensures every badge is made responsibly, safely, and ethically — from the first sketch to the final shipment.
Because when every step of your supply chain stands for something good, your brand does too.
